A Practical Solution For Fulfilling Life’s Purpose : Live Longer Younger Workshop
During my teen years, I suffered the deaths of several relatives who were near and dear to me. It taught me at a young age how precious life is and that there is not a moment to be wasted. I resolved at that time, never to compromise on what I want to accomplish in life and to never allow others to hold me back from following my own heart.
Life is meant to be lived fully, and along the way, I realized to do so also requires vibrant health. What I also discovered after having dealt with several personal health crises of my own such as grand mal epilepsy and several tumors, is that you cannot trust someone else with your health. The current “Health Care System” is an industry driven by the profit motive which cares little for your actual health.
If you have some degenerative disease, ultimately you cannot totally trust doctors who although they may have the best intentions, have been programmed to follow certain protocols which support the pharmaceutical industry. Ultimately you need to thoroughly educate yourself before following any health regimen.
According to a group of Japanese doctors I met years ago, I am childless due to hormone imbalance caused by all the vaccinations I received as a child, which is also the root cause of the epileptic attacks I experienced for fifteen years. The bottom line is, that if I had followed the advice I had been given by some of the doctors I have consulted over the years, I would have had an unnecessary mastectomy (making me breast-less at age nineteen), a dullard from unnecessary drugs and finally dead from iatrogenic disease like my mother.
Perhaps you can see why from my own experience I learned to take responsibility for my own health. While I obviously could not alleviate all of the side effects of the medical care I received as a child which I did not choose, I have overcome a lot of it. I began a regimen of twice yearly 7 – 10 day fasts, to detox. I studied psychology to further understand my emotions and how they affect my health.
Over the years, due to my quest to stay healthy naturally, I attracted a lot of key information in this regard. I studied Taoist philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of longevity practices to enable one to live long enough to complete the most important human endeavor one can strive for in one’s lifetime: enlightenment. This somehow hit a strong chord with me.
One of the most essential aspects of the Taoist practices is the importance of keeping a positive attitude. In fact, the first longevity practice which is taught, known as the Inner Smile, helps fortify an inner confidence which helps carry the individual through all of life’s ups and downs.
It strengthens the immune system as well as fosters an inner strength which helps you face life’s difficulties. You then don’t fall prey to the danger of a spiral downward into a negative attitude, which would ultimately attract more of the same both mentally and physically.

At this same time in my life, I discovered Reiki, the art of transferring universal life force energy to oneself and others which I have taught for many years and which I am most known for. Sharing Reiki has been a great blessing, because as you give treatments, you also receive treatments. Reiki when practiced on a daily basis is also a longevity practice.
Over the years, I have been asked on numerous occasions to share some of my personal health and beauty secrets. In response, I have begun to share some of my other discoveries, such as the use of an alkaline diet and tri-atomic oxygen or ozone which I have used for fifteen years to maintain super health ( the British Queen Mother who lived to be 100 is known to have used ozone extensively). To this end, I have created a new seminar, Live Longer Younger with Dr. Gene Nelson, a Naturopathic Physician and expert in energy medicine, to convey some of the secrets to alleviating virtually all degenerative diseases and maintaining vigorous health.
One of my previously best kept secrets, which I now share, is my use of facersize which keeps me looking a good ten years younger. Being a practical person, I find seeing myself in the mirror looking much younger, makes me feel younger as well. This encourages me to exercise more vigorously. I even run up and down the stairs like a twenty year old and train with weights. In addition, facercise releases all the emotional tension we all unknowingly store in the face, and it enables me to not have to wear my normal glasses for distance when I teach.
The most important practice to me is meditation, which is what takes us beyond the mind to the realm of pure potential. It is here that we find the real elixer of life, awareness, which helps take us to the realization that finally, there is no birth or death, no youth or old age that we need to conquer, where youth is just a state of mind where we can laugh at ourselves and all of our silly notions…..and just enjoy.
